Roger has been married to Ellie for over 20 years and has 3 children. Roger has lived in south west London since 2002.

Roger founded AlphaGen Capital in 1999 with the launch of the AlphaGen Capella Fund. He went on to manage other flagship hedge funds - Tucana and Acamar for over 10 years. The UCITS European Absolute Return Fund and the European Best Ideas Fund along with multiple long only mandates including the Continental European Fund and the European Selected Opportunities Fund both of which delivered top quartile performance over 1,3,5 and 10 years.
Paul is husband to Catherine (for over 25 years) and dad to Jude and Freyja. He is a native of North Yorkshire where they all live today. Paul spends his time between London and the family home in Harrogate. “I am passionate about people, hard-work, living life to the full, the family dog (Bear), playing and watching football (and most sports). I read voraciously - fact and fiction. I love the great outdoors, camping, climbing and hiking in snow and sun."
Paul is the CEO of Landseer Asset Management. He has worked in the hedge fund and asset management industry for over 25 years in London, New York, Dubai, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Formerly Paul was CEO of AlphaGen Capital at Janus Henderson, Henderson and Gartmore. Paul and Roger launched the firm’s first Alternative UCITS fund (the Gartmore European Absolute Return Fund) in 2009. Before that Paul was Global Head of Hedge Funds at Barings.
Andy is Head of Equities and PM of the European L/S Focus Fund.
Andy is married to Lisa and has 2 daughters. Born and raised in London, and currently living in Hampstead.

Andy previously worked at Arrowgrass from September 2008 to November 2019 and was a Partner, Executive Committee Member and Global Head of Equities. From 2005 to 2008 Andy was a Partner at Lead PM at Walter Capital (SAC Capital). Prior to that between 2000-2005 he was a PM at Meditor Capital Management and prior to that between 1998-2000 he was a PM at Singer & Friedlander Investment Management.
Stephen is a keen yachtsman, having recently taken part in the Clipper Round the World Race. A frustrated squash enthusiast, cricket fanatic and general all-round armchair sportsman! Reader of politics and history. Jazz lover.
Stevo is COO and a Partner. He has over 20 years’ experience in Financial Services. He held senior roles over a 13-year period at Alphagen Capital Limited, a subsidiary of Janus Henderson Investors, where he led the firm’s alternatives product development programme, with responsibility for operations, service providers and alternative fund structures for all investors. Previously, Stephen held related positions at Barclays, Insight Investment and Rothschild.
Glen Heighton is the Head of Trading and Execution and a Partner. Glen previously worked at Arrowgrass from January 2009 until October 2019 and was also the Global head of execution. Prior to Arrowgrass Glen worked as a trader at GSA capital. 2007-2007 and in Operations at Sandelman Partners.
Jamie has been married to Lisa for 24 years and has a daughter who is now working in the Finance industry and a son at University.
“I spend my time out of the office playing sport, notably golf and cricket. I am a voracious reader on markets and behavioural psychology; the intricacies of decision-making fascinate me, which might explain why I am so interested in meditation!”
At Landseer Jamie runs European Smaller Cap portfolios, most visibly in his Long-Short UCITS Fund which he has been managing since 2007 (initially at S W Mitchell Capital and then at Chilton Inc) but also in a long only, high conviction strategy. Jamie is looking forward to a resurgence in European smaller companies after years in the dark!
Jamie started his career in 1997 at J O Hambro Investment Management (now known as Waverton).
Iain has been with his partner Lisa for over 15 years. They have two children, Ryder (8) and Fletcher (6). He was born and raised in the South East of England where he lives today with his family in the town of Tunbridge Wells.
“I grew up playing football, rugby and cricket along with most other sports. I am still a keen sportsman, however, this tends to be more as a spectator these days. Being fit and active is still very important to me, and I am a keen cyclist and skier.”
“My hobbies include photography, reading and travel. My work life has involved extensive travel over the years, but my favourite place to visit is the Cote d’Azur where we spend most family holidays. My favourite cities would have to be New York and Hong Kong. I love spending quality time with my family and am lucky enough to have two young sons who have adopted my love of sport and football in particular.”
Iain is Head of Client Partnerships at Landseer Asset Management
He has worked in the Hedge Fund and Asset Management industry for nearly 25 years. Prior to Landseer Asset Management he was a Director of Sales with AlphaGen Capital at Janus Henderson, Henderson and Gartmore.
Inigo Edsberg is a Senior Analyst and Partner.
Inigo has over 25 years of experience. Previously he worked at Arrowgrass between November 2012 and November 2019 and was the Senior Financials Analyst on the Equity Long/Short team. Inigo has been a Portfolio Manager or Senior Analyst responsible for Global Financials on the buy-side for the last 20 years of which 15
years in the Hedge Fund sector with positions at Occitan Capital (2010-2012), Brevan Howard Asset Management (2008-2010) and RWC. Partners (2005-2008). Prior to this Inigo worked for 5 years as a Senior Analyst covering the European Banks at Amundi Asset
Management (2000-2005) based out of London. Inigo started his career as a banks analyst at Panmure Gordon & Co. Inigo holds a BA (Hons) in Politics from Newcastle University.
Tim is married to Nina and has one son, Isak.
Originally from Manchester, he now lives in North London. Given his wife’s Swedish origins and extended family in Asia he normally spends his holiday time in Northern Europe and, or the Far East. A keen skier, runner and rower; if only to try and deflect the Swedish love of a ‘fika’. He often spends his time being mocked by his wife and son for his poor Swedish accent.
Tim has over 20 years of both buy and sell-side experience and previously worked at Arrowgrass from September 2013 to October 2019 as an Equity L/S Analyst focusing on the TMT sector. Prior to that he spent 5 years on the sell-side as a TMT Specialist Sales and Analyst at Panmure Gordon and then Olivetree Financial Group. He originally qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG before moving into Long Only investment management with M&G. Post 2001 he spent 7 years in L/S Equity management with Walter Capital and then Citigroup. Tim holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Queens’ College, Cambridge (1993), a IIMR qualification and is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA).
Mario was born and raised in Sicily and moved to London in 2016 to study at the London School of Economics. He currently lives in Pimlico. “I am passionate about sports in general, tennis and padel in particular and I am an active member of the Stratford Padel Club. I really enjoy cooking, especially Italian recipes, and I have yet to meet a person who wouldn’t ask for a second portion of my Carbonara. My other passions include traveling, reading and watching tv series and documentaries”
Mario previously worked at Arrowgrass from November 2017 on the Equity L/S team and became an Analyst one
year later focusing on Materials and Industrials. Summer 2017: Intern, Investment Banking Division, Equita Group.

Originally from Somerset, Will has been living and working in London for just over five years.
Having completed an Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree at Bristol in Economics and Finance, he has spent several years working on the sell-side. Having started life in London as a Capital Goods analyst at Exane BNP Paribas, Will joined a Swiss bank in its Global Thematic and Strategy team where he played a more generalist role. Will joined Landseer Asset Management in March 2023 as a generalist.
Outside of work, he enjoys being outdoors, keeping fit and playing sports like rugby and cricket. A keen historian, Will likes to read books on various periods throughout history and visit historical sites.
Ella made the move to settle in London in October 2023, after travelling through Europe for a few months. She is originally from Hawkes Bay in New Zealand, where she grew up on her family farm. “I enjoy spending time with friends & family, exercising, travelling, cooking, and reading. I made the move to London to continue my career pathway in asset management.”
After studying a Finance & Economics degree in New Zealand, she was a Private Wealth Analyst at one of New Zealand’s largest wealth management firms, Craigs Investment Partners. Ella joined Landseer Asset Management in January 2024 as an Investment Assistant.
Chris is married to Ros and has two children. A native of Yorkshire, he now lives in Cambridgeshire. Chris read music at both under and postgraduate level and spent a brief period working in musicology before moving into investment management in the 1990s. Chris began his investment career at Schroders before moving to Edinburgh to co-manage AEGON’s North American and Technology funds. He returned to London in 2006 to work with Tim Day at Pictet, initially running North American funds, and subsequently leading Global Equities. He moved to work with Smith & Williamson’s funds business in 2015 where he developed and launched the Global Artificial Intelligence Fund. Chris still finds time to devote to music and enjoys playing the violin (rather well) and the piano (much less well), as well as pursuing a keen interest in opera and chamber music. He reads widely, and, as a member at Chatham House, he takes a keen interest in geopolitics.”
Tim is co-PM on the Global Growth Team.
Tim has been married to Pip for 29 years and has two children, Jamie, and Ellie. He enjoys playing Padel tennis and spending time in Norfolk, walking the dog along the coastal path and exploring the area. Tim has enjoyed an extensive career managing US equity and global equity funds, he started his career at Robert Fleming and spent 5 years in New York. Since 2006 he has co-managed funds with Chris Ford at Pictet Asset Management, Smith and Williamson, and Sanlam.
Giles is co-PM on the Global Growth team and PM of the APAC strategy.
He has over 30 years of fund management experience having started at LGT AM looking at European small caps, Invesco AM and then moving on to M&G where he worked in and ran the European Equities team for 10 years. Giles is married to Sarah and has a daughter Siena. Having married a Chicagoan, he now spends a lot of his holidays in Chicago and reading as much American civil war history as possible.
Alex joined the firm from Sanlam Investments UK and is an equity investment analyst on the Global Growth Team.
Originally from Melbourne and having completed his schooling there at the University of Melbourne, he decided to move to the UK in 2018. “I came to London looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to work in the financial hub of Europe, not to mention the allure of travel to the continent, sports, and culture. I love the city and the people I have encountered, plus as a big fan of cricket, it’s great to be here when the Aussies inevitably come over and smash the Poms at their own game. I am an avid boxer, golfer and volleyballer. My favourite country to travel to is Italy, I love the food, people, and the lifestyle.”
Alex joined the boutique funds management team at Smith & Williamson in January 2019, which is where he first encountered Chris, Tim, and Giles. After completing his CFA and the team moving to Sanlam Investments, Alex joined as an Equity Analyst and moved to Landseer with the other team members in January 2024.
